Detailed Laser Paper overlayed with Vellum

Today I am sharing a card using the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper. I made two cards both just a little different.

First you need to cut a piece off the large sheet of Laser paper.  I then spritzed it with with a mixture of Shimmer Paint and water.  Die cut the rectangle shape out of the piece of Shimmery White.  On this one I stamped the small butterfly with Petal Pink on Petal Pink and then with Versa Mark and embossed with White Embossing Powder.  Then punch them out.

On this one I did it just a little different I stamped the butterfly with Petal Pink on Petal Pink and on the Vellum.  Let it dry for a few minutes before punching it out, or you can hit it with a heat tool.

As you see on one I put a piece of vellum over the lace.  It gave it a much more delicate and subtle look.

 Assemble all layers.

Attach butterflies and add a pearl to the center.

Wonderful Romance

Today's project I used the beautiful Wonderful Floral Framelits and the Floral Romance DSP.  I am also using two of our retiring colors, Powder Pink and Fresh Fig.

As I have mentioned before I have been working on using this beautiful DSP we have.  So for this card we used a strip of the Floral Vellum in the Floral Romance pack.  Now this pack will be going away on June 3rd, so get it before it is gone.  I die cut the edgelet on a piece of Fresh Fig and layered the vellum on top.

To hide how I attached the vellum I put the tape under where you are going to place the punched circles.  Stamp the phrase with Fresh Fig on the layer piece of Powder Pink.  You will cover that up with all your layers.  Punch and assemble.

http://craftiercreations.blogspot.com/2019/04/everything-is-rosy.html

Now on to today's card.  I am using the Flowering Desert stamp set.

.
I inked up the background with the Yoseng Makeup Brushes with Sahara Sand, So Saffron and a LIGHT touch of Mossy Meadow.

Stamp the cactus with Mossy Meadow three times. Once full strength, second stamping and then the third stamping.  I also did that with the smaller greenery with both Mossy Meadow and Sahara Sand. Then emboss it with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  Out of the center of the Mossy Meadow layer punch out the 1 1/2" circle.  On a piece of scrap Whisper White stamp the phrase in Mossy Meadow and the small cactus in Sahara Sand over the top.  Take a strip of the Burlap ribbon and cut it apart to get the single pieces.  Attach to the back of the circles and attach to the front of the card base with dimensionals.
