Christmas Card Gift Box

This box was inspired by Beth McCullough @ stampinmom.com.  She has great phots of how the box goes together.  Check it out here.

I however changed the dimensions just a little.  I did make a box very similar to hers, & will post that at a later time.

The box holds 4 standard size cards with envelops on each size.  So it makes a nice gift for someone.  I am going to give this to my mother-in-law for a birthday present.

The base of the box is 8 1/4" x 12 & you score @ 1/2" & 1" on all 4 sides.  Make sure you cut away that corner piece on all 4 sides.

The acetate piece is 12x12 & you score @ 2 1/4", 2 3/4", 9 1/4", 9 3/4".  When scoring on acetate you want to make sure you run your scoring blade up & down several times.  It will not make a complete fold line like paper does.  On the back side of the acetate I attached a piece of the DSP.

The inside liner is 6 1/8" x 10 3/4.   You need to score @ 4 7/8", 5 3/8", 5 7/8", Then fold & attach inside box.

Background is embossed with the new Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder.  This new folder is much thicker then most embossing folders, so you only need to use one clear cutting pad.
