First Frost

Today I am sharing a quick and simple card.  I have a class on Saturday and I have not finalized all the projects we will be doing...so this might be one of them.

First Frost came out in the 2018 Holiday catalog and carried over into 2019 and will be carried over into the new 2019/2020 catalog.  I was thrilled to hear that because I had not used it as much as I wanted to.

On a piece of Shimmery White cut at 3 3/4" x 3 3/4 cut at an angel. I randomly stamped the flower/leaf stamp in Balmy Blue.  I then randomly stamped the other sprig (the one that looks like Baby's Breath) with Crumb Cake.

Stamp phrase on bottom piece of Balmy Blue with Crumb Cake.  Emboss the Balmy Blue piece with the Subtly Embossing Folder.  Lightly brush Crumb Cake on the edges of both pieces.

Attach the Shimmery White piece to the Balmy Blue piece, and attach the ribbon.  Layer onto the Crumb Cake base.

April 2019 Paper Pumpkin

This month I was able to get to my Paper Pumpkin done much sooner then last month.  This kit is so pretty, and has so many other options for the stamp set.  I can't wait to play some more with it.

But...I wanted to share what I had made so far.  I also want to share the Paper Pumpkin video.

So far I have only made 6 cards.  I kept most of them the note card size because they have very pretty matching envelopes.  I did however make 2 of them into standard size cards.

Remember if you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin I will send you an alternative card for an extra idea.  It's always nice to get happy mail.

Tropical Chic

Today's card features the Tropical Chic stamp set.  This set also comes in a bundle with die cuts.  If you do not have it yet now is the time to buy it.  It will be returning in the new 2019-2020 catalog but, not as a bundle.

On Shimmery White card stock, I randomly stamped three different leaves in Pear Pizzazz, Lemon Lime Twist and Gray Granite.  On a piece of scrap Shimmery paper stamp phrase with Memento and the leaf in Lemon Lime Twist. Round the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch.

Punch out phrase with the 1 3/8" Scallop Punch, the Vellum with the 1 1/2" punch and the Basic Black out of the center layer with the 1 3/4" punch.  Attach all layers and add a piece of Pear Pizzazz Shimmer Ribbon.  Attach to the top of the card with Dimensionals.

I am so glad that this set is returning, because I really like it but, have not used it as much as I wanted to.
