First Frost

Today I am sharing a quick and simple card.  I have a class on Saturday and I have not finalized all the projects we will be doing...so this might be one of them.

First Frost came out in the 2018 Holiday catalog and carried over into 2019 and will be carried over into the new 2019/2020 catalog.  I was thrilled to hear that because I had not used it as much as I wanted to.

On a piece of Shimmery White cut at 3 3/4" x 3 3/4 cut at an angel. I randomly stamped the flower/leaf stamp in Balmy Blue.  I then randomly stamped the other sprig (the one that looks like Baby's Breath) with Crumb Cake.

Stamp phrase on bottom piece of Balmy Blue with Crumb Cake.  Emboss the Balmy Blue piece with the Subtly Embossing Folder.  Lightly brush Crumb Cake on the edges of both pieces.

Attach the Shimmery White piece to the Balmy Blue piece, and attach the ribbon.  Layer onto the Crumb Cake base.

Petal Palette

Today project I used the Petal Palette stamp set, which will be carried over to the new Annual Catalog in June.  But...it will no longer be a bundle.

I stamped the flower twice on a piece of Shimmery Paper with Memento Black Ink.  Then colored with Old Olive and Pool Party Stampin' Blends.

Die cut with 2 Layering Squares that fit inside each other.  Take the outline piece and attach Foam Adhesive Strips all around to pop it up.

Attach a few Pearls and you are finished.

Petal Palette Leaf

This is a quick and easy card to make, and could be done with any color combination.  I wanted to use something new from the catalog and something returning.

On Whisper White stamp the background stamp from the Love What You Do set in Pool Party.  Heat set it with the embossing gun then rub your embossing buddy all over.  Stamp the leaf from the Petal Palette in Versa Mark and emboss with Silver Embossing Powder.

Color the ribbon with the Pool Party Stampin' Blends.  Stamp phrase on Whisper White with Versa Mark then stamp it into the Pool Party and emboss with clear embossing powder.  Die cut with label die from the Petals and more Thinlits.

Color the Rhinstones with the Pool Party Stampin' Blends and attach to card.
