Scrappy Strip Technique

Today I am sharing a new technique that I fist saw on FB.  Kylie Bertucci husband Bruno had made card using up DSP scraps.

So...I decided to do my fist video showing how to do this technique.  Now, keep in mind this is my first, and I did not do editing.  I did a lot of research about stamping/crafting videos and yes some people do all the fancy editing and what not.  But...their are plenty that do not.  I am one of the do not's at least for now.

This technique is a great way to use up small scraps.  You know you have them!  Depending on the length is how I decided what size to make the focal piece.

These were all made with the Ornate Garden DSP, and the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I ended up with several because I had to redo my video three times.

Don't forget to save a few strips for the inside.

These two I used the Tropical Oasis DSP and the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder.

This one I also used a piece of the Ornate Garden DSP.  It is colored with Stampin' Blends.

These two were with The Parisian Blossoms DSP and Silver Foil paper.

And last but not least, this one I used the Sea of Silhouette DSP.

Which one is your favorite?

Here is my video:

Don't forget about my Mail It Monday.  Yesterday I did it a little different.  My husband dropped off over 100 cards at the local senior center.  I had contacted them to see if they were interested in cards to hand out to the residents.  It was a win win for me and them.  If you would like to receive a card on the next Mail It Monday please contact me with your address and I will drop one in the mail.
