Flirty Flowers

Today I wanted to show you another card using the new embossing past.

As you can see soooo simple.  I used the brick background from the decorative masks.  After it is dry, With Lemon Lime Twist Istamped over the top of the bricks with leaves/flowers from the Flirty Flowers stamp set.  Now keep in mind when doing this you will not get a clear stamp because you are stamping on an uneven surface.  But I liked the affect it made.

Stamp words & die cut.  Attach black bakers twine, & you are finished.

Hope you enjoyed.

Fabulous Flamingo

Hi All,

Back again with another card using the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set & the new Embossing Past & stencils.

The new embossing past is so easy to use & dries rather quickly.  I have used other types of past in the past & this definitely has a different texture & feel to it.  I'm liking it a lot.  I took the new diamond shapes mask & spread the past over the piece of shimmer White card stock.  As you can see I did not cove the entire piece.  After it is dry you can use a sponge to alter the background with Lemon Lime Twist.

On Shimmer paper stamp the flamingo in Lemon Lime Twist & die cut it with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  You can also die cut the black out of the center of the Basic Black card stock.  Sponge with Lemon Lime Twin around the oval flamingo.

Attach ribbon & black sequence.  Use dimensionals to pop up oval's.

Hope you enjoyed this project see you again soon.

Vintage Leaves

Today I decided to change it up a little.  Before we know it Thanksgiving will be in the review mirror, & Black Friday will be on our minds.

I wanted to go back to an old favorite the Vintage Leaves, but also wanted to show a new technique.  Well at least new to me.  Stencil Embossing...yes another way to use something you already have.

Se the background, that was done with a stencil.  This is how Tammy Tutterow did it.
Tammy Tutterow | Big Shot Stencil Embossing:

Well..I didn't do it quite the same way.  I did not have all the same pads & I wanted to be able to do this in a class.  So in place of the silicone pad & the impressions pad I used 2 pieces of cardboard.  Yes, it worked.  Now you may have to adjust your card amount depending on how thick of cardboard you are using.

On Whisper White dry emboss with the stencil, then sponge with Old Olive, Peekaboo Peach & Crushed Curry.  I also sponged the same colors on a separate sheet, stamped 2 leaves & embossed with copper.  Then die cut them out.

I also die cut out a small leaf out of the copper.

Hope you enjoyed this new technique.  Any questions let me know.
