Detailed Laser Paper overlayed with Vellum

Today I am sharing a card using the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper. I made two cards both just a little different.

First you need to cut a piece off the large sheet of Laser paper.  I then spritzed it with with a mixture of Shimmer Paint and water.  Die cut the rectangle shape out of the piece of Shimmery White.  On this one I stamped the small butterfly with Petal Pink on Petal Pink and then with Versa Mark and embossed with White Embossing Powder.  Then punch them out.

On this one I did it just a little different I stamped the butterfly with Petal Pink on Petal Pink and on the Vellum.  Let it dry for a few minutes before punching it out, or you can hit it with a heat tool.

As you see on one I put a piece of vellum over the lace.  It gave it a much more delicate and subtle look.

 Assemble all layers.

Attach butterflies and add a pearl to the center.

How to get the new catalogs!

Hello,

The new Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs will be arriving soon!!

There are several ways you can get your hands on the new catalogs.

1. Register for the Stampin Palooza!  That is the easiest way to get a catalog.
2. If you have placed a $50.00 or more order with me (before S&T) within the last 6 months you will receive one.
3. Contact me!  I will get a catalog mailed out to.
4. If you are new to Stampin' Up and don't have a demonstrator, please contact me I would love to help you.

Now, on to today's project.

I have decided to take a little break from making Christmas cards.

 I have had this pack of Delightfully Detailed Note Cards for a while.  I decided to make some very simple cards with them.  This pack comes with 20 color-washed cards. 5 each of 4 designs. also includes 20 envelopes.  All for the price of $9.50 #146911!

I only used the Mint Macaron cards this time.  I just took some random stamp sets and stamped with Mint Macaron.  A couple of the cards I used some scrap pieces of the Detailed Laser Cut Paper.

Delightfully Detailed DSP

Have you seen this new paper.  You really have to see it in person to appreciate just how pretty it really is.  In this pack you get 8 sheets, 4 each of 2 different designs.  The possibilities are endless on what you can do.

This particular card I cut it at 3 3/3" from the edge.  I wanted to have the solid edge on the left.  I then snipped away part of the solid piece.  Save that piece.  You can make something with it.

On Whisper White sponge with Balmy Blue leaving it just a little lighter in the the top right hand corner for your sentiment.  Attach Detailed DSP and stamp sentiment in Balmy Blue.

Attach to Basic Black and then to Balmy Blue.  Add a pearl and you are finished.
