Oh So Succulent #2

I have been playing around with the Oh So Succulent, which is one of my favorites, but sad to say is going away.

 

I stamped the flower from Oh So Succulent in Dapper Denim & the inside with Calypso Coral.  The splatter background is from Gorgeous Grunge.  I then stamped three flowers with Calypso Coral & die cut them out.

Added some Dapper Denim Ribbon then attached the flowers with dimensionals, and don't forget the bling!!  No card is complete with out it.

Dragonfly Dreams

This week I wanted to share a few cards I made using the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle.  One of my favorite sets from the 2017 Occasions Catalog.  I also had been wanting to do the baby wipe technique.  Something I had not tried yet.

Take a baby wipe & scrunch it up like a sponge & tap it into the ink pad & stamp randomly on your paper.  Although it is very similar to the sponges, I feel you get a much softer look with the baby wipes.  I used Bermuda Bay & So Saffron for this background.  I then stamped the background with the grid from the timeless Textures with Basic Black & the dots from Gorgeous Grunge with Bermuda Bay.

Stamp the solid part of the Dragonfly in So Saffron & the detailed part in Basic Black.  Die cut the detailed Dragonfly out of Basic Black & add clear Wink of Stella.  I also splattered Wink of Stella randomly on the background.  I know, it's really hard to capture that in a photo. Stamp Sentiment in Basic Black.  Add Bling!

Make a Medallion

So..Sale-A-Bration will be coming to a close at the end of the month so this weeks posts I decided to use the Make a Medallion (free with a $50.00 purchase) & the new 6x6 Glimmer Paper in the March supplement during Sale-A-Bration. (also free with $50.00)

I stamped the Medallion with so Saffron & the Splatter from Gorgeous Grunge with Bermuda Bay on the Whisper White.  On a Scrap of Whisper White stamp one medallion in Bermuda Bay & the other in So Saffron.  They line really nice:)  I used the the Scalloped circle for the outside cut & a solid to cut out the center.  I cut one size larger out of the Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper.  Stamp the words in Bermuda Bay & die cut with the banner from the Pop Corn Thinlits.  Sponge the edges of the doilie with So Saffron & layer everything.

For the ribbon...I used the Whisper White from the Succulent Garden Ribbon Combo.  I like to mix up my own spritzers with ink refills & Pearl X.   So I cut the pieces I needed & spritzed them with Bermuda Bay Spritzer.  These do take a few minutes to dry, so you could always do this first & then make your card.

And don't forget to add a little bling!

Paper Pumpkin

January's Paper Pumpkin is so cute. Although I did not make the original design, which is very cute.  I just don't have little kids any more.  Sometime I use the little gift bags or boxes that come in PP for my monthly class treats, but my next monthly club is after Valentine's Day.  So I decided to make cards with them.  My next few post are going to be cards I have made with the PP kit.

Yes, it's Gorgeous Grunge again.  I told you very versatile!! I stamped the background with Crumb Cake & Calypso Coral.  I cut the score lines off the main section piece from the PP kit.  I did figure out that the little glue dots that come with PP do not show through vellum.

I took a piece of the Calypso Coral & pulled the layers apart, then added them to the back of the banner piece. Attached the banner with dimensionals.

Sealed With Love

Back with another Valentines Card.  I have to say I am loving this bundle.  I also used Gorgeous Grunge on the background.

 Die Cut the Heart Edgelit on a 1/2" piece of of real Red & Basic Grey.  Stamp the splatter dots with Real Red & Basic Gray, stamp sentiment & assemble.

Aren't those little arrows just so darn cute.
