Painted Poppies and Pigmanet Sprinkles

First...I wanted to let everyone know that I made a few changes to a couple of my classes.  I am now offering a Friday option on the Painted Poppies class and the Technique class is no longer a 3 month commitment. Come to one or all if you want.  Just remember when you come to the first one, you will need to have the book and re-fill pages.  Of course I would love to see you attend all of them, then you do not miss out on any of the techniques.  Also don't forget to check out the Stampin' Bingo coming on March 15th, 2020.

Now...onto today's project.

Several weeks ago I had posted some cards I had made with the Pigment Sprinkles.  I used a scrap piece to make this card.

Stamp the Poppy on the scrap piece with Memento Black Ink. Die cut the scrap piece and the Basic Black layer with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

Stamp the phrase with Memento Black Ink and then emboss the Whisper White with the Subtle Embossing Folder. Attach the Daffodil Delight Ribbon.  Attach stamped image on top of Basic Black, and attach Basic Black with dimensionals.

Country Floral Embossing Folder

Hello Stampers,

Before I share today's post I wanted to let you all know about an upcoming class.  Do you have the winter blues?  Need some crafting therapy?  Come join me on Saturday March 2nd at 1:00 .  We will make 5-6 cards, have some light snacks and drinks and get some crafting therapy in.  Click here for all the details.

Now...onto today's post.

I wanted to share with you the new Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.(free with $50.00 purchase before S&T)  Wow a very long name for this one.  This folder alone makes a very beautiful card.  I am going to share 3 different cards I did with this new folder.

The recommendation for the new Dynamic Embossing Folders is to spritz them just a little with water before running it through.  They say it helps to prevent the paper from cracking.  Although I have never had this problem I did do it this way with this folder.

Lightly spritz a piece of Shimmery White paper with water and emboss with the Country Floral folder.  I then brushed across the top embossed image with Blueberry Bushel a blending makeup brush.  Yes, you heard it right...I am using a contraband product.  I love our sponges and daubers, but I recently saw a couple stampers ( not Stampin' Up) using a brand called Picket Fence Blending Brushes.  Well...they are around $50.00 so I did a little research and found a similar brand on Amazon for $15.00, click here for the link if you want to try them.  Now I have not compared the two so I can't tell you if one is better then the other.  But I like the softness you get with these.

I took one of the smaller brushes and went over the large rose just a little more to make it darker.  Die cut 3 of the word thanks out of the layering piece of Blueberry Bushes and assemble.  Attach pearls, and you are finished.

This one was done exactly the same, just used Basic Grey and Petal Pink.

Now, this one I did do just a little different.  I took a piece of Basic Black Card stock and spritzed it with a mixture of Frost White Shimmer Paint and Rubbing Alcohol. I then took a blending brush and went across the top with the White Craft Ink.

On a piece of scrap Shimmers Paper, I stamped the flower from the new Painted Season Stamp set (free with $100.00 purchase before S&T) with Memento Ink, and die cut it out.  Now the Die Cuts for this set will be available on March 1st along with a few others.  Attach ribbon and assemble.  Add a few pearls.
