Daisy Card & Beach Chairs

So today I wanted to share with you the last two cards we did at Stampin' Palooza.  These last two we did two new techniques.  These two cards are both using the embossing resist techniques but in different ways.

We used the new Colorful Season Beach Chair die cut.

  1.  With Versa Mark ink stamp Hardwood background on the water color paper, heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
  2.  Lay out a piece of plastic wrap & stamp the following ink pads on the plastic. Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach & Calypso Coral.  Always go lighter to darker for overlapping purpose.
  3. Spritz with Calypso Coral Spritzer.
  4. Lay the stamped water color paper face down on top of the ink. Flip it over & you can then move the plastic around to cover the entire piece of water color paper.
  5. Dry with embossing gun.
  6.  Repeat ink process again, dry with embossing gun.
  7. Stamp words with Basic Black ink.
  8.  Attach Baker Twine.
  9. Die cut 2 chairs from the center of the black layer.
  10. 1.      Attach Basic Black piece to Daffodil Delight & attach Water Color paper to the Basic Black
    11. Glue Chairs Down with your favorite glue.  We used Mono Glue.

We also use plastic wrap & homemade spritzers.  Just use a spritzer bottle, re-inker, a little bit of Pearl X, & water.

Now onto the Daisy Card.  As of today the Daisy Bundle is now back in stock.

  1.  Stamp Daisy on Shimmery White with Versa Mark & heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
  2. On the scrap piece of plastic stamp Bermuda Bay ink on one side & Lemon Lime Twist on the other.
  3. Spritz onto the stamped ink.
  4. Flip plastic & drag over the area you stamped. The more you drag it around, the more it will blend together.
  5. Stamp Daisy on Shimmery White with Lemon Lime Twist & punch out.
  6. Punch out a Daisy on Lemon Lime Twist & Bermuda Bay.
  7. Randomly stamp the spatter with Lemon Lime Twist.
  8. Attach Ribbon.
  9.  Attach Daisy’s together with glue Dots & then to card base with Dimensionals.
  10. 1.      Attach layer to Bermuda Bay.

Product List

We also used a piece of plastic or acetate & homemade spritzers again.

Hope you enjoyed these last two cards from Stampin Palooza.  Next post will be something new from the catalog.
