Watercolor Magic

Hello Stampers,

Today I want to share 4 cards I made when I was playing with watercolor again.  I also used the positive and negative trellis looking die cut that comes in the Climbing Rose Bundle.

I had a hard time taking pictures of these cards, I first tried the white background and they looked all washed out, so I went with the black.

I first took my craft mat and stamped down some Petal Pink and Basic Gray Ink.  Spritzed with the Water and Shimmer Paint mixture. I did this with several pieces of Shimmer White.  I wanted to die cut the trellis of those pieces and use a couple of them for the back ground.

The one thing I forgot to do when I was die cutting the trellis was use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets.  It would have made it much easier to attach.  One card has the positive shape and the other has the negative.  How do you save all those little pieces. After you die cut the piece and before you pull it all apart, take a piece of Press n Seal on top.  This will hold all theses pieces in the right position for you to attach to another card. Now it took me longer to do this, because I had to add a little bit of Mono glue to each one.

I randomly stamped the background with the splatter stamp and the bokeh stamp from the Beauty Abounds with Petal Pink and Basic Gray Ink.

This one I used the trellis as a stencil and sponged randomly on the back ground.

The Birthday Wishes stamp and the punch are bothe new and will be available on March 1st.

The butterflies were die cut out of a piece of Basic Gray and then cut apart and topped with Wink of Stella.

I embossed the background and the rectangle with the Subtle Embossing folder.  I now you can't tell in the picture.  It is so hard to get that folder show up in photos.

I hope this gives you some ideas on how to use the positive and negative shapes with your die cuts.
