Make a Medallion

So..Sale-A-Bration will be coming to a close at the end of the month so this weeks posts I decided to use the Make a Medallion (free with a $50.00 purchase) & the new 6x6 Glimmer Paper in the March supplement during Sale-A-Bration. (also free with $50.00)

I stamped the Medallion with so Saffron & the Splatter from Gorgeous Grunge with Bermuda Bay on the Whisper White.  On a Scrap of Whisper White stamp one medallion in Bermuda Bay & the other in So Saffron.  They line really nice:)  I used the the Scalloped circle for the outside cut & a solid to cut out the center.  I cut one size larger out of the Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper.  Stamp the words in Bermuda Bay & die cut with the banner from the Pop Corn Thinlits.  Sponge the edges of the doilie with So Saffron & layer everything.

For the ribbon...I used the Whisper White from the Succulent Garden Ribbon Combo.  I like to mix up my own spritzers with ink refills & Pearl X.   So I cut the pieces I needed & spritzed them with Bermuda Bay Spritzer.  These do take a few minutes to dry, so you could always do this first & then make your card.

And don't forget to add a little bling!

Happy #2..

So we made this version of the Happy Celebrations using the Celebrations Duo Embossing folder at last weeks monthly club.

I used a piece of DSP from the Urban Underground Paper, & embossed a piece of Basic Grey with the new Hexagon Embossing folder.

 Stamped the Happy with Basic Grey, & then stamped over it with Crushed Curry.

I colored the White Accents with a Black Sharpie for a little bling.  Stamped the phrase in Basic Grey & die cut with the banner from the Popcorn Box Thinlits.

Happy...

I finally got around to playing with the new Celebrations Duo Textured Embossing Folder & the Happy Celebrations stamp set.  After a little trial & error sort of speak, I figured out it is much easier to stamp the word first & then line up the embossing folder.

On the Whisper White background I inked up the Boho Chic embossing folder with Basic Gray & closed the folder & just rubbed my hand around the folder.  Some parts might be a little darker than others, but I like that effect.

A little sponging around the edges & then assemble.  I used a Black Sharpie to color the White Perfect Accents.

Inside The Lines

Today I wanted to show you what I did with the Inside The Lines DSP that you can get for free in the Sale-A-Bration catalog with a $50.00 purchase (before S&T).

I used the new Water Color Pencils & colored in some of the flowers with Bermuda Bay, & then went over them with the Aqua Painters.  I die cut a square out of one spot & layered onto basic black & attached it with dimensionals.

Stamped & die cut two bee's from the Dragonfly Dreams set & sponged them with Daffodil Delight, & attached them with dimensionals.

Did the same with this one except used the Pumpkin Pie watercolor pencil.

This one I added a little Baker's twine to the bottom.
